Bitcoin Coreis thebackbone of the Bitcoin network. Almost all Bitcoin wallets rely on Bitcoin Core in one way or another. If you have a fairly powerful computer that is almost always online, you can help the network by running Bitcoin Core. You can also use Bitcoin Core as a very secure Bitcoin wallet.
Dont use Blockchain-info wallet – it is not a good wallet
There are a lot of problems with it. Basically, you shouldnt trust your money/privacy to something that isnt open source / vetted by independent security without expecting a random result: you really have no way of knowing what you are going to get when you use it.
If your bar is using BitX, it is likely accepting Bitcoin as payment in which case you can use any mobile wallet to pay them with, you dont need BitX specifically.
Begging/asking for bitcoins is absolutely not allowed, no matter how badly you need the bitcoins. Only requests for donations to large, recognized charities are allowed, and only if there is good reason to believe that the person accepting bitcoins on behalf of the charity is trustworthy.

Imported Addresses = The watch only addresses, and addresses that have private keys that were apart of your wallet before you upgraded it to the new version. These addresses do not lie within the new HD architecture and funds cannot be backed up with the 12 word mnemonic.

Just make sure you follow the appropriate backup procedures for whatever wallet you choose.

You might be interested in Bitcoin if you like cryptography, distributed peer-to-peer systems, or economics. A large percentage of Bitcoin enthusiasts are libertarians, though people of all political philosophies are welcome.
Heres a list of some good wallets where you control the keys:
Whats the main problem with it? Feels like a bit of a mission to change at this stage? I would basically have to send the bitcoin to myself at my new wallet?
No compilations of free Bitcoin sites.
My Bitcoin Wallet = A single HD account that contains an infinite amount of addresses for you to consume. Funds that are in My Bitcoin Wallet can easily be restored with the 12 word mnemonic.
They have a long history of screwing up, with coin losses and privacy losses over many years. I wrote a little bit about it here:
Promotion of client software which attempts to alter the Bitcoin protocol without overwhelming consensus is not permitted.
Will I earn money by mining bitcoin?
Submissions that are mostly about some other cryptocurrency belong elsewhere. For example,/r/CryptoCurrencyis a good place to discuss all cryptocurrencies.
News articles that do not contain the word Bitcoin are usually off-topic. This subreddit is not about general financial news.
